Managed Services Consultant

 

We are currently searching for a managed service technician to join our expanding Service Operations team.

As a service desk engineer the primary function of this role is to provide support to end users for all Desktop, Hardware and software issues and to contribute to the successful operation of our Service desk Department. By ensuring all support requests are logged and resolved in a timely manner in accordance with our ServiceDesk procedures.

What you will be doing:

 

  • Action tickets logged on our Helpdesk ticketing system
  • Answer Calls and log tickets for support issues
  • Troubleshoot basic software and hardware problems
  • Ensure all support requests are kept up to date and resolution detailed in our Helpdesk ticketing system
  • Ensure SLA’s are adhered to
  • Any other duties assigned by your line manager

 

What you will need:

  • ·       Experience working with Microsoft Technologies
  • ·       Some experience with Firewalls (SonicWALL) ideally but not critical
  • ·       Excellent communication skills
  • ·       Excellent phone manner
  • ·       Experience of working effectively as a team member
  • ·       An Eagerness to learn new technologies
  • ·       Good general knowledge of hardware and software
